Ya know those PF Chang’s Chicken lettuce wraps? The ones with copy-cat recipes all over Pinterest? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about! To be honest, I’ve made some of those recipes a few times and I wasn’t in love. There was just something missing. A little za-za-zoom, a little something extra. Well, I can stop searching for that missing z-z- ’cause it’s been found! What is it? Just take a look at the recipe for these SunButter Chicken lettuce wraps and you’ll find out!
Okay, totally not sneaky, I know. The secret sauce is SunButter. Swapping out the usual peanut flavor profile of the lettuce wraps for SunButter gives these chicken lettuce wraps an AMAZING flavor boost! I used SunButter’s Natural Crunch for this recipe which allows for a little crunch action, so satisfying!
These SunButter chicken lettuce wraps whip up in literally 15 minutes. START. TO. FINISH. Seriously! I’m pretty sure that makes these the ultimate fast food. Delicious, nutritious, and speedy! That’s my kinda dinner!
The SunButter chicken in these chicken lettuce wraps can totally be made in a large batch. Double, triple, quadruple…quintuple? I won’t judge! Simply throw whatever you don’t use into a freezer bag, get all of the air out, and plop it in your freezer for a future date! The easiest dinner. Ever.
You could also serve these chicken lettuce wraps over rice VS a lettuce wrap alone. I always make sure to have sort of carb at dinner. So, when I made these I’ll make a side of rice, quinoa, sweet, potato, etc. etc. Carbs are GOOD guys. I’ll never stop saying that. Our bodies not only want carbs but they NEED carbs! They are your body’s (and brain’s) preferred energy source. Muy importante.
If you haven’t tried SunButter before stop what you’re going, run to the store (and print this coupon for $1 off before you go!!!) and get yo’self some. They’re sure to become a staple in your weeknight meal routine so be sure to pin this recipe to your Pinterest board to come back to!
