For 6 years I battled an eating disorder that left me consumed with thoughts of food. I was tired (mentally and physically) and knew I needed to change my life for good. Once I became medically stable and “looked fine” I felt more lost than ever. While I no longer fit the definition of a clinical eating disorder, I knew I wasn’t truly, 100% recovered. I still had obsessive food thoughts. I still counted calories. And I still wanted to control the size and shape of my body.
The missing link between being “recovered” and truly achieving food freedom was learning to become and intuitive eater. Intuitive eating is a non-diet, weight neutral approach to nutrition. It teaches you how to understand your internal hunger and fullness cues, cope with emotions, respect your body, and learn how to make food choices that both nourish your body and spark joy.
After finally achieving true food freedom myself I knew I had to help others do the same. Which is why I created my Signature Food Freedom Program!
